How we collect data

Our comprehensive data collection approach combines

self-identification and DEI performance questions

in the form of a

survey sent out to all employees of a company or department.

We recognize that each department and region may have unique characteristics, which is why our questions are carefully adapted to ensure the data we collect is specific and relevant to them.

What we measure

  • The self-identification part of the survey

    captures insights across up to 27 identity markers.
  • The DEI part of the survey gives us

    a clear understanding of the perception of employees of the company's performance

    in their diversity, equity, inclusion efforts.

  • We ask questions about the

    overall work environment

Anonymized and private

Given the sensitivity of the data in the database, all data collected during surveys is anonymized. The anonymization process aims to eliminate any possibility of re-identification. Each user is represented by an encrypted ID.The database is exclusively under the governance and management of Élance. No third-party supplier, partner, client or other entity has access to the database.

Linked to a key number

For logistical purposes, the following personal data is collected: surname, first name and e-mail address during user registration on the platform. User registration is not linked to the self-identification survey completion plug-in. The data collected during completion of the self-identification survey is only linked to the user's encrypted ID in the database. The following personal data is not associated with any other user data: surname, first name and e-mail address.
